Ron Hood Explores Run for Congress
As Right Angle Blog reported on a few days ago, my longtime friend and client Ron Hood is exploring a run for Congress in Ohio 7. Such a race will present a clear contrast for voters between a conservative and a liberal Republican. I'll report more as Ron's efforts unfold.

Ron Hood is an unexperienced, unprofessional, unqualified candidate for Congress. Hood is not even an ounce of an opponinet to Austria. Austria has this race locked.

Ron Hood doesn't have a shot in this race. First he is a carpetbagger. He has lived in the District less than 4 years. He has never accomplished anything when he was in the House even as a member of the majority party.
Austria a liberal? He carried conceal carry through, overrode Taft's veto, 100% pro-life, pro-business. Austria a liberal. HARDLY!!!

Austria voted for both of Taft's record tax increases in Ohio (then brags about the 21% tax decrease that was embedded in one area of the record tax increase).
Hood voted against both of tax increases.
He also supports right-to-work laws in Ohio (while Taft fought against them) instead of the same old tax abatement and free land deals that don't work in a state this is so unfriendly to new business because of the unions.
He accomplished plenty in the State House because he refused to become a "Republican Lemming" and stood for the real conservative issues.
If you think Austria has the race locked up then you probably live in Clark County and have not traveled outside his current district.
I live in Clark County and will be voting for Ron Hood. I am tired of Congressmen who can do nothing but brag about how much "federal tax dollars" (i.e. my money) they bring back to my area!!! You want to impress me... brag about how much of "my money" you are saving and returning to my pocket!!!
I have had it up to here with politicians who tell me they are raising my taxes because we are getting new school buildings, new businesses, and new opportunities... and all we have to do is raise 33% of the money with taxes BECAUSE (are you ready for the lie)... we are only paying for 1/3 of it and the "government" is paying for the other 66% with "federal" or "state money"!!!!!???
And we tax payers are too stupid to realize that "federal" and "state" money is the same money they took from our paychecks just last Friday!!!!
Wake up and vote for Ron Hood!!

You have been blinded by Hood's half truths and lies. The supposed tax increase, actually had a negative tax effect on Ohioans. Look it up. It also changed the way taxes were collected. The new tax laws were supported by manufacturers so that jobs would be created.
Hood accomplished nothing in the Statehouse. Look at his record.
A vote for Ron Hood is a vote for the Democrats, b/c the Democrats will win this seat if Ron Hood is the nominee.
Austria is the right person for this district. He is a strong conservative and has the record and credentials to prove it.
Did you know that Ron Hood voted to take money away from the surviving family members of our servicemen and women killed in action.
That my friends is reprehensible.

As for me, my support will be Democratic candidate Sharen Neuhardt. It's time to end the stranglehold that the GOP has had on Greene County for as long as I can remember. If Austria wins in November, we will have more of the same: a 7th District that is nowhere on its way to no place. And from what I've read up on for Hood, things could get worse if he is elected. We need someone who will bring some REAL change to the district.

Jim Trakas is trying to upset and unseed the idiot boy mayor who bankrupted the city of cleveland. He never met a tax he didnt like.
