Senate candidate Eric Greitens urged his supporters to ‘hunt’ those who don’t support former President Trump is a new gun-wielding ad.

The Missouri Republican posted the new 38-second clip to Twitter. ‘I’m Eric Greitens, Navy Seal and today we’re going RINO hunting,’ he said. ‘A RINO feeds on corruption and is marked by the stripes of cowardice.’

‘We are sick and tired of the Republicans in Name Only surrendering to Joe Biden & the radical Left. Order your RINO Hunting Permit today! ‘ he captioned the new clip.

In the video Greitens and an armed military squad are seen breaking into a home and firing round after round of shots.

‘Join the MAGA crew and get a RINO hunting permit,’ Greitens says. ‘There’s no bagging limit, no tagging limit and it doesn’t expire’ til we save our country. ‘ Trump has not endorsed Greitens or waded into the Missouri race at all so far.

The Greitens campaign could not be reached for comment, but the ad generated much pushback on social media. Facebook removed it from the platform and Twitter put a warning on it that reads: ‘This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules about abusive behavior. However, Twitter has determined that it may be in the public’s interest for the Tweet to remain accessible. ‘

Greitens is the frontrunner of 20 vying for the GOP nomination on Aug. 2 upon the upcoming retirement of GOP Sen. Roy Blunt.

The 48-year-old Navy Seal and former Democrat has an impressive resume – he was a Rhodes Scholar, has a Ph.D. from Oxford University and has worked as a humanitarian volunteer and documentary photographer in nations the world over. But he’s no stranger to gun-toting campaign ads – in 2016 during his run for governor, Greitens released an ad of himself firing off rounds of an automatic Gatling gun.

Greitens won that campaign and served as Missouri’s governor for two years before resigning amid allegations of sexual assault and campaign finance violations.

His ex-wife has accused him of spousal and child abuse. Sheena Greitens recently requested records from the governor’s office proving that Greitens has had access to firearms limited numerous times – she said that her ex-husband repeatedly threatened to commit suicide unless she showed ‘specific public political support’ in 2018 as he weathered multiple scandals .

As a result, she and others limited his access to firearms at least three times that year.

Greitens resigned the governorship after being indicted in 2018 over claims he sexually and physically assaulted his hairdresser in 2015 – and used nude photographs taken of her to keep her quiet. She also claims that he tied her up in a basement and coerced her to have sex with him.

Greitens admitted to having an extramarital affair with his hairdresser and said their encounters were consensual.

He also faced felony charges for using a veterans charity list to raise campaign cash.

Missouri Republican Sen. Josh Hawley demanded Greitens drop out of the race after the abuse allegations from his ex-wife came to light.

‘If you hit a woman or a child, you belong in handcuffs, not the United States Senate. It’s time for Eric Greitens to leave this race, ‘he wrote on Twitter in March.

Greitens has claimed his ex-wife’s attacks are politically motivated and that she has conspired with Sen. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and Karl Rove to keep him out of power. He is seeking full custody of his children.
