Posted on June 21, 2022 By admin No Comments on Natural Products To Buy When Taking Baby To Beach

Natural baby products are not only good for babies but they are good for the environment as well. As such, the two go hand-in-hand when packing for a day at the beach. And while some natural products may be known, the fact that many baby products that are not recyclable or are made of materials that could harm the environment could easily be replaced by natural and eco-friendly items is lesser so. Therefore, it may be worth looking into some natural products to buy when taking babies to the beach.

With the number of people who flock to the beaches every summer, comes trash and chemicals that are harmful for marine life. This is because many of the toys, sunscreens, and the like that sound good for a day of fun in the sun are doing nothing but exposing sea animals to harmful substances. And because of this, if people are able to find natural products to bring to the beach instead, it is something they may want to consider.

When looking at sunscreens, parents have the option to choose mineral-based or non-mineral-based ones. And while either is fine for babies, what parents really need to exclude from the sunscreen ingredient list is oxybenzone.

According to Good Housekeeping, oxybenzone can cause allergies and is a hormone disrupter. Further still, when it is put into water where things like coral are present, it can cause them to die.

Therefore, opt for the natural sunscreen and keep both babies and the environment safe in the process.

And because it is easy to clean it makes for a great natural mat to take to the beach.
