Casey Affleck’s girlfriend Caylee Cowan reportedly scared off an intruder that attempted to break into their home while the actor was away on Tuesday.
But the 24-year-old actress shook off the frightening encounter to attend the premiere of her latest film Frank and Penelope in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
She was supported at the star-studded soiree by Affleck, 46, who she began dating in January 2021.

Though the couple appeared in good spirits, Cowan had quite the scare on Tuesday morning after an intruder reportedly entered the Los Angeles home she shares with Affleck.
Cowan – who is trained in Karate, Taekwondo, Shotokan, and Krav Maga – woke at 3am to find the home invader staring at her in the bedroom and he ran off when she screamed, according to TMZ.

The actress quickly gave the 911 dispatcher a description of the suspect, who was still running down the street when the LAPD was arrested and booked him for burglary.
Affleck was out of town at the time of the incident.
It’s still unclear how exactly the man broke into the house, as there was no sign of forced entry. But luckily Cowan was unharmed and was even able to report to work that same morning.
Cowan was joined at the premiere by her co-stars Donna D’Errico, Sean Patrick Flanery, Sydney Scotia and Billy Budinich.
