Carol Vorderman, 61, showcases her incredible figure in a bikini as she soaks up the sun in Wales

Carol Voderman seemed in high spirits as she took to Instagram while soaking up the sun in Wales on Monday.

The presenter, 61, showcased her incredible physique in a black and white checked bikini as she shared a gallery of clips and snaps.

The TV star went make-up free as she beamed in the stylish number while hiding behind a large pair of mirrored sunglasses.

She styled her long blonde tresses in beach waves as they cascaded past her shoulders from under a large white sun hat.

In another snap, Carol wowed in a skintight pink swimsuit which she donned half unzipped flashing her assets.

The beauty couldn’t contain her smile as she prepared to go paddle boarding in the eye catching one piece.

She showcased her natural beauty by going makeup free while shielding her eyes from the sun with a pair of dark sunglasses.

She penned to the post: ‘WELCOME TO WALES.

‘The mountains… oh the mountains… and the water… and the people… .and the land… .and the Hawk T2 taking off from @royalairforceuk Valley… Honestly my HEAVEN’.

The TV star’s outing came as she announced she’s coming back to Channel 4, returning to screens for several episodes of Celebrity Gogglebox.

It will be a special moment for the broadcaster as the channel is home to her former hit show Countdown where she became a household name.

The maths whiz will appear alongside Gyles Brandreth passing judgment on the week’s TV – replacing actress Joanna Lumley.

Sharing the carousel of pictures with her 225,000 Instagram followers, alongside the This Morning favorite Carol wrote: ‘CELEBRITY GOGGLEBOX… So I’m making my debut this Friday 9pm on one of my favorite shows of all time and joining the @ c4gogglebox gang…. with my friend of 40 years @ gylesbrandreth….

Fans were ecstatic over the news with one writing: “I love this show and love you. TV Gold this Friday. Getting G&T in for the occasion. ‘

It comes as earlier this month she challenged Susanna Reid to a ‘mud wrestle’ over Judge Rob Rinder in an Instagram Story.

The media personality was updating her followers on recording for the Pride of Britain podcast when she playfully threw down the gauntlet.

She added that the Good Morning Britain host ‘keeps trying to take’ Rob, 44, away from her.

Addressing her followers, Carol began: ‘Well I’m happy to say I’ve had a lovely day because we’ve been recording lots of interviews for the Pride of Britain podcast that’s going out at the moment.

‘I haven’t heard one yet or watched one yet then just go to one of the social channels and I hope you enjoy it.

‘But do you know what our winners on Pride of Britain are extraordinary, I mean they are so just… special and I’ve found that I’m learning a lot from them and I have today.’

She then turned the conversation to Rob, who she dubbed the ‘love of her life’.

Carol said: ‘I also… was interviewing the love of my life Rob Rinder, Judge Rob Rinder.

‘Susanna Reid keeps trying to take him away from me. I’ve told her I’m willing to mud wrestle her for him.

‘But she hasn’t taken me up on that yet sadly.’

In an Instagram post she also called Rob ‘special and a joy as ever’.
