Wow, John Kasich Voted to Ban Deer Hunting?
According to the Buckeye Firearms Association , John Kasich voted while in Congress to ban deer hunting. What the f@#$?
While spoiled yuppies like Kasich might think deer hunting is some type of barbaric sport, the simple fact is that many Ohioans rely upon deer meat to feed their families. I know this personally. When I was growing up working class families in southeastern Ohio couldn't always afford a freezer full of expensive beef. But you could afford to take two or three deer a year between hunting in Ohio and West Virginia and eat pretty well. My family and I certainly did.
Deer hunting is about self reliance. About taking care of yourself and your family. About solving a problem creatively and cheaply. You know, the things Republicans used to be all about.
