Vulnerable Statehouse Democrats Commit Political Suicide
With news that the President is backing off on cap and tax climate control legislation (HT Third Base Politics), what should a first term, vulnerable Ohio House Democrat running for re-election in a previously held Republican seat do? Marian Harris, Mike Moran, Matt Patten, and Raymond Pryor are all first term legislators that are holding seats formerly held by Republicans less than 2 years ago. Ted Celeste also signed the letter. Celeste is in his 2nd term but Republicans held this seat less than 4 years ago.
Denise Driehaus is also a first term D in a GOP leaning seat. But she took over for her brother Steve when he was elected to Congress.
I bet one term Speaker Armond Budish is fit to be tied. Even his trusty lieutenant and caucus campaign chairman Jay Goyal signed the letter. How politically stupid can someone get?

I know we don't see eye to eye on 100% of the issues, but you are absolutely right that the last thing these vulnerable Democrats should be doing is signing onto such disastrous legislation that simply is not supported by a majority of Ohioans, let alone the damage such laws would do to our already broken economy. You can bet that Ohio College Republicans will be working hard with GOP candidates in these districts to make sure voters know what their State Representatives really stand for!

Marian Harris is an imbecile. She is a sickeningly submissive crony of the late Senator Howard Metzenbaum. More recently, Marian has been posing as a so-called leader of Ohio's red faced and screaming Deaniacs .
Marian has demonstrated that she does not possess a mind of her own. Thus, she will do whatever is trendy in order to conform to the furthest left zone of the Democratic Party.
