Support for Penn National Casino Plan Slips Slightly in latest Ohio Polling

Support for a Penn National plan to construct four casinos in major cities in Ohio slipped slightly in the latest Ohio polling.  Link to the poll is here.

A survey of likely Ohio voters showed that 56% support this plan that is designated as State Issue 3 on the November statewide ballot.  A July poll showed support from 60% of likely voters and an August poll showed support from 61% of likely voters.

Based on historical trends, I am projecting that support for this ballot issue will continue to slip as election day approaches.  For a more detailed analysis on this topic, please contact me directly or via the Gerson Lehrman Group or Guidepoint Global.  Thank you.
