Scott Pullins: The Treatment of Our Veterans is Treasonous

My old friend Brian Rothenberg over at lefty group Progress Ohio has an excellent column today on the horrendous treatment of our vets.  It is my belief that it doesn't matter whether you believe that the U.S. should stay in Iraq for the next 1,000 years, or should never have gone, we should all agree that what is happening to our Vets is disgraceful. Beyond disgraceful.

Disgraceful isn't even a big enough word to describe it. How about treason?

Treason is defined as a betraying, treachery, or breach of allegiance. Under our constitution treason is defined as levying war on the United States or more importantly, providing aid and comfort to our enemies.

It is out and out treasonous for our leaders, our agencies, our public servants to tell a wounded soldier to come back in two weeks. To me, not properly caring for our Veterans is giving aid and comfort to our enemies.

Damn it I'm angry and everyone in this country should be so too.
